Profiles of the Management Training School’s faculty are presented below.


George Osawaye

George Osawaye, our co-Founder is an entrepreneur, executive coach and business consultant, specialising in business incubation, operations strategy and business optimization. He got exposed to the world of business at age 10, helping to run a family bakery and has been directly involved in several successful business initiatives for over 25years!

After losing a thriving business due to a sudden change in government policies, he relocated the United Kingdom in 1994 with less than £20 to his name. Since arriving in the UK, he has obtained an Msc in information systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School, Boston, with concentrations in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship. He has also attained an exceptional level of success by applying the strategies he now shares with his clients.

George has consulted for several leading blue chip companies in Europe and North America such as Reuters Inc., Exel Logistics, CitiGroup, LloydsTSB, Exxon-Mobil, JP Morgan Investment Bank, Aviva Insurance Group, Ace Insurance, Lehman Brothers, Office of the London Mayor, Derivatives Consulting Group, Barclays Capital, amongst others.

His passion is helping aspiring Entrepreneurs, Business Owners and Managers attain freedom, personal fulfilment and success by teaching them how to start, grow and maximize the value of their businesses. He has trained and mentored hundreds of individuals and small businesses in personal, professional and business success techniques.


Sandy Graham

Gerald S. “Sandy” Graham is the Managing Partner for Sequoyah Associates focused on providing winning business strategies for business growth and full business optimization.

Sandy is a multifaceted Business Advisor, Coach and Consultant with over 20 years experience, with an established record of success in optimizing market opportunities, attaining strategic business objectives, increasing market share, strengthening client service delivery and achieving strong ROI returns.

His comprehensive track record as a Business Growth and Optimization Catalyst has enabled him to attain strategic business objectives for new ventures, small business enterprises, franchisees, and global firms such as IBM Global Services.

Sandy holds an MBA with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Management Leadership as well as a Masters in Economics.  He is a 2004 Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Intern, a contributing author on Free Cash Flow, and his first book entitled See the Green $: The Achievement of Your Entrepreneurial Dreams is due to be released in late 2010.


Olukunle Malomo

Olukunle has 12 years’ experience in strategy consulting, mergers and acquisitions venture capital and entrepreneurial management. His expertise includes corporate strategy, market due diligence, business development, financial analysis and post-merger integration strategies having previously worked with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), IBM Global Services, Center for Applied Research, Gemini Consulting and Application Technologies Inc.

Olukunle also co-founded HummingBox Inc, a wireless infrastructure company which later became Mobile Application Technologies Inc, the 2003 recipient of the ‘Best new innovation and technology company’ in the State of Pennsylvania DCED sponsored business plan competition. At Mobile Application Technologies, Olukunle successfully led a cross functional Application Technologies team that proposed, won and implemented a multi-million dollar Oracle financials system for a multinational wireless telecom carrier.

Olukunle’s professional accomplishments and commitment to local and global community initiatives have been recognized by his selection as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland in 2001 and his selection by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s distinguished “40 under 40” in 2004. He has been featured in Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Smart Money magazine and World Link magazine. He has also been a featured speaker at the Harvard Business School, Stanford University Graduate School of Business, The Wharton School and The United Nations ICT task force.

Olukunle is the co-Chairperson of the African Venture Capital Fellows task force of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland where he collaborates with Global 1000 CEOs, Heads of Governments and Non-profit organizations to identify mentorship and internship opportunities for high potential African business leaders.

He holds a BS in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria, an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he was a Shils Zeidman-Henry Morgenthau Fellow and also completed the Financing Hi-Tech startups CSP program at Stanford University.


Amy Burks

Amy Burks is the founder of Sage Strategic, a business and marketing consulting firm.  Since 1997, she has worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and business owners to design, develop and implement sustainable business strategies.

She has worked with notable successes such as Hooked Media Group, CourseRoads.com, Groovpix Entertainment, MiApartmentoHoy.com and countless other online and traditional business models. Prior to founding the firm, Amy held executive positions in marketing management the nonprofit, technology and brand development sectors, supporting corporations like Bank of America, the United Way of Greater Orange County and TheTruth.com.

Amy holds an MBA with emphases in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Westminster College and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Idaho State University, where she is currently a guest lecturer in business and marketing communications courses.


Garth Schmalenberg

Garth is dedicated to the development of organizational leadership capacity by building on the natural strengths of each client and cultivating a reflective learning approach. He focuses on the unique characteristics, values and capacities within each individual and helps them to identify and challenge themselves to greater achievements.

Garth’s 15 years of corporate leadership culminating in an executive role with an IT consulting organization combined with his formal education as an engineering physicist, and followed by 9 years of experience as a professional leadership coach, including work with business and political leaders, and his personal work towards creating a new culture of sustainability in society has given him a unique perspective on leadership for integrating interests of business, society, technology and the environment. His coaching approach is informed by his work with individuals, organizations and groups and his personal interest and study of subjects such as cognition, decision making, emotional intelligence, international development, sustainability and technology.

He is certified by the Coaches Training Institute (CPCC), a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF-GTA) and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS). Garth is an active participant with EBBF, an organization which promotes Corporate Ethics and Social Responsibility and has served on various non-profit and municipal economic advisory boards. He has collaborated with Municipal and International Political leaders on behalf of peace and economic initiatives and his client base includes leaders of small, medium and large organizations. In his work he has influenced personal, business and organizational progress, addressed sources of conflict, and helped clients resolve personal and professional relationship issues.
